Linnaea borealis

Good eve,
It's Sandy here on this Anniversary Weekend.
In case you haven't seen; LLC just turned 3, and to celebrate it's 15% off everything at at the store until midnight tonight, (so you still have a few hours to take advantage of this offer!!!

Furthermore; there's also a yummy pearl giveaway on LLC's Facebook page:

I also have a little card to share today for this week's theme "Linneaus Botanical Journal".
There are so many pretty pastels in this new Pion collection and I was really torned between blue and  pink, but in the end I settled for pink as the recepient has Linnea in her middlename, just like the flower. :-)
The flower display consists of different Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, a foam flower stem and some pearl stamens in pink. The butterfly was cut from the Border sheet.

On top, there's a lace bow made with Lace Juliette and a blingy heart.
The other two laces around used around the card as borders are Lace Zoe and Lace Fleurette.

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugz, Sandy

Celebrate Each New Day: Linnaeus Botanical Journal

Hello, crafty friends! It's Karen here with my card showcasing Pion Design's new collection: Linnaeus Botanical Journal. It is a lovely collection, as my teamies have shown you. :o)
The central image is from the Plumbago Auriculata sheet. It's so beautiful and large enough on the 12x12 sheet to shine on its own. The new (and irresistible) Sunflower Pearl Trim lines exquisite Coco lace. The blue base is the reverse of the Borders sheet, which I paired with a Maja Design Coffee in the Arbor yellow.
The layered butterflies are cut from the Borders sheet. I particularly love the sunshiny ones. :o) The floral arrangement consists of several Wild Orchid Crafts goodies, joined by decoration berries and beaded pomegranate apples (in Vanilla Cupcake and Apple Chutney).
I love resin pieces and incorporated two into my card. The key is from the Melissa Frances Small Lockbox Appliqué set, which I paired with a Prima Shabby Chic Square Frame. Both are accented with Shabby White Frantage. My sentiment is stamped onto a section of one of the Pion borders.
The interior is lined with the Caroli sheet, which is another lovely shade of blue. The Linnaeus Botanical Journal color palette is truly divine and the artwork is beautiful. :o)

Thank you for visiting LLC and have a beautiful day!

Hugs and blessings,
Karen

Plumbago Auriculata

Good evening everyone, Becky here with my second card this week, and this time I have gone for the blues.

Tilda has been coloured with Distress Reinkers. The paper is once again from the new Pion collection, this sheet is Plumbago Auriculata, isn't that just the best name for some paper-I'd never remember it though, or be able to say it after a few glasses of wine though, lol. The edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool.

Have you seen the cute little glass bottles? I think they are adorable, I have added a little bit of glitter, fastened some twine around it and added a mini heart.

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx
